The FCT Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board (FCT CPWB) was established on 24th March 1994. FCT CWP consist of a Board established by the Honourable Minister of State and headed by a Chairman, with six (6) Members. Their appointment is on part time basis.
- Arrange suitable transport for the pilgrims to and from the airport or transit camps or both in Nigeria and Holy land during Pilgrimage:
- Arrange suitable accommodation for the Pilgrims in the Holy land and render all reasonable assistance which the Pilgrims may require in the matters concerning health, immigration, security, foreign exchange and consular services:
- Exercise such powers and duties as may be delegated by Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC) or the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) on any relevant issue concerning the general Welfare of Christian Pilgrims, in FCT:
- The Board shall, at the end of each Pilgrimage, submit to the Minister, a comprehensive report of the Board’s activities during the Pilgrimage.
