The Abuja Infrastructure Investment Centre (AIIC) is an administrative agency of the FCT Administration created principally to promote and facilitate private sector participation in the provision of public infrastructure and services within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). It was established in 2008 and backed by the Abuja Infrastructure Investment Centre (Establishment) Order No.1 of 2009.

Function

The Primary Function of the AIIC essentially is to promote and facilitate private sector participation in the provision of FCT public infrastructure and services as well as to ensure compliance with the National policy on PPP and global best practices.

Organizational Structure and Staff Disposition

The AIIC has a structure that consist of a Chief Executive Officer, called the “Coordinator”, three departments and a Governing Board under the chairmanship of the Executive Secretary, FCDA. The three departments of the AIIC are

  1. PPP;
  2. General Services; and
  3. Investment Promotion
